2020 Toyota Camry Trim Levels
Toyota Dealer Serving Ontario
The 2020 Toyota Camry gives fence-sitters many reasons to believe midsize sedans still have a place on today’s roads. The Camry remains a popular model at dealerships like the Toyota dealer in Ontario, thanks to its cavernous cabin, smooth and comfortable ride, excellent safety scores and abundant trunk space.
If that isn’t enough to convince skeptics, there’s a new TRD trim level for 2020, which was developed by the Toyota Racing Development team to provide even more performance. Also new for 2020 is the addition of Android Auto, which is now standard, along with Apple CarPlay. Buyers at the Toyota dealership near Ontario also appreciate that the Camry now features Amazon Alexa.
The 2020 Camry seats five and is offered in six trim levels, listed as L, LE, SE, XSE, XLE and TRD. We’ll examine the different models and reveal what each one brings to the table.
Toyota Camry L
All trim levels except the TRD are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, teamed to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Standard features for the L trim include 16-inch steel wheels, automatic LED headlights, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, a 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, a Wi-Fi hotspot and a six-speaker audio system. The L also gets the Toyota Safety Sense system as standard equipment. Toyota Safety Sense features several driver-assistance technologies, including forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assistance, and automatic high beams.
Toyota Camry SE
Step up to the SE trim and you’ll get revised steering calibration, a sport-tuned suspension, faux-leather upholstery seats, a 60/40-split folding back seat, automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, and sporty exterior trim.
The LE and SE have a pair of option packages, including the Convenience package and the Audio Upgrade package.
Toyota Camry XLE
The XSE and XLE trims can get an available 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates 301 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque, also mated to the eight-speed automatic gearbox.
Standard features include heated front seats, leather upholstery, an 8-inch touchscreen, dual-zone automatic climate control, two additional USB ports, a wireless phone charger, satellite radio, rear cross traffic alert and blind spot monitoring.
Toyota Camry XSE
The XSE trim includes a sport-tuned suspension. Models with the available V6 engine get a panoramic glass roof, a head-up display, and a JBL premium audio system with nine speakers.
The LE, SE, XLE and XSE trims can get the optional Cold Weather package, which comes with heat on everything that can be heated.
Toyota Camry TRD
The TRD trim gets the V6 engine standard. It comes with features that start with the contents of the SE and then adds 19-inch black-painted wheels, a TRD-tuned suspension, an aerodynamic body kit, extra chassis bracing, upgraded brakes, driver-selectable driving modes, an advanced cruise control system, and keyless entry and ignition. Buyers can choose available performance tires at no extra cost.
