Fuel economy for the 2020 Toyota RAV4 is excellent, with EPA-estimated fuel economy rated at 28/35 mpg for models with front-wheel drive and start/stop and 26/35 mpg for models without start/stop.* All-wheel-drive versions return 27/34 mpg with stop/start and 25/33 mpg without stop/start.
The Adventure and TRD Off-Road models feature torque vectoring, which can send up to half of the engine’s torque to the rear wheels and regulate torque distribution to the left and right rear wheels. This improves handling and cornering and is advantageous when driving off-road or on slippery road surfaces. The TRD Off-Road trim comes with an off-road suspension and heftier tires.
