The 2020 RAV4 gets great safety scores, which gives families added peace of mind.
RAV4 Trim Levels
According to the Toyota dealer serving the Meridian area, the 2020 Toyota RAV4 is available in six trim levels, listed as LE, XLE, XLE Premium, Adventure, TRD Off-Road and Limited. All models are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, matched with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is optional, except for the Adventure and TRD Off-Road trims, which get standard all-wheel drive.
The base LE trim comes with a long list of standard features, including Toyota Safety Sense P, a suite of driver-assist technologies. Other features that come standard include 17-inch steel wheels, LED headlights and taillights, automatic high beams, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, cloth seats, manual seat adjustment, power door locks, power mirrors, power windows, a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker audio system, a rearview camera and a USB port.
The XLE trim adds keyless entry, push-button start, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, blind-spot monitoring and additional USB ports.
RAV4 XLE Premium
The XLE Premium gets a raised suspension, larger wheels, a sunroof, simulated leather upholstery, soft-touch dashboard materials and a power liftgate.
The Adventure trim starts with the features of the XLE Premium, except the power liftgate and the sunroof. It comes with exclusive wheels, taller roof rails, fender flares, hill descent control, selectable terrain drive modes and an 8-inch touchscreen.
The Adventure and TRD Off-Road trims get torque vectoring, which can send up to 50% of the engine’s torque to the rear wheels and adjust torque distribution to the left and right rear wheels. The result is better cornering and handling, with helps when driving off-road or over slippery road surfaces.
RAV4 TRD Off-Road
The TRD Off-Road trim includes unique black trim elements, an off-road-tuned suspension, all-terrain tires, the power liftgate, the sunroof and exclusive interior trim.
The Limited gets the features of the XLE Premium, plus chrome exterior trim, a virtual rearview mirror, heated front seats, the 8-inch touchscreen, a premium JBL audio system with 11 speakers, and a navigation system.
Several of the Limited’s upgraded features can be added to the Adventure, XLE Premium and XLE trims through option packages. Other available features include heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, a surround-view parking camera and wireless smartphone charging.
Regardless of which trim level you choose, you’ll get the peace of mind that comes with knowing the RAV4 is very safe. The IIHS gave the 2020 Toyota RAV4 its top rating of Good in all crash tests, and the organization named the RAV4 a Top Safety Pick.
