All trims are powered by a 4.0-liter V6 engine that puts out 270 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque, mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. The TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium and TRD Pro get standard all-wheel drive. The others come with rear-wheel drive and get available all-wheel drive.

2022 Toyota 4Runner SR5

This model starts with the features of the SR4 and adds dark painted wheels, dark exterior trim, a Yakima roof rack, a sliding rear cargo deck with underfloor storage, and a portable beverage cooler.
