If you own the 2023 Toyota Highlander, it’s important to bring it to the Toyota dealership serving Eagle for scheduled maintenance. Toyota recommends taking your Highlander for its maintenance visit at 5,000-mile intervals or every six months, whichever comes first. These visits include services such as oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and more. We’ll examine some of the Highlander’s scheduled maintenance visits.
5,000 Miles
The 5,000-mile service will be your first maintenance visit. Our certified service technicians will perform a tire rotation to prevent the tires from wearing unevenly. Other services to expect during this visit include a check of the vehicle’s brake parts, fluid levels, and wiper blades. They’ll also make sure the driver’s floor mat is installed properly. These services will be repeated during every service visit.
If you take short trips in freezing weather, our service technicians will change your Highlander’s oil and oil filter. If you use your SUV for towing, the techs will torque the nuts and bolts on the body and chassis. Vehicles frequently driven on dirty, dusty, or muddy roads will get an oil and oil filter change and an inspection of the engine air filter, drive shaft boots, and ball joints and dust covers. The service technicians will also torque the nuts and bolts on the body and chassis.
10,000 Miles
During your Highlander’s second scheduled maintenance visit, the service technicians will change the oil and oil filter. The services for vehicles operating under special driving conditions remain the same.
15,000 Miles
At 15,000 miles, it will be time to check the steering gear, the brake parts, the brake lines and hoses, the radiator, the engine cooler hoses and connections, the drive shaft boots, the ball joints and dust covers, the steering linkage, the cabin air filter, the engine coolant, and the exhaust pipes and mountings.
20,000 Miles
This service visit includes all the services of the 10,000-mile visit.
25,000 Miles
This service visit includes the basic services of the 5,000-mile maintenance visit.
30,000 Miles
When the odometer reaches the 30,000-mile mark, it will be time for an oil and oil filter change. The service technicians will rotate your Highlander’s tires, check the installation of the driver’s floor mat, replace the cabin air filter and engine air filter, check the fluid levels, and inspect a long list of other parts and components.
